Little Shop of Horrors is a roaring success!

This year’s whole-school musical, “Little Shop of Horrors”, opened to roaring success on Wednesday 6th February. Running until Friday, the audiences were packed and the show brought the house down. With incredible music led by Ms Breckon, Ms Riley and the staff/student band, spellbinding choreography by Ms Tibbetts, and acting direction by Mr Kalorkoti and Ms Murphy, the cast absolutely shone in this horrific yet hilariously faustian tale of a florists shop’s rise to fame… and the fall of mankind. Audience members have praised it as Bolingbroke’s best musical to date, also remarking on the stunning set and props which were made in Mr Thomas' and Ms Gougeon’s enrichments, and the dazzling makeup provided by Ms Ponge and her enrichment group. If you were able or to catch this phenomenal production, or if you missed out, do make sure you come back for the Sixth Form Play “Stuff” in April, as well as the Year 7-8 and Year 9-10 productions in Summer 2 - more details to follow. In the meantime… DON’T FEED THE PLANTS!!
