Top law firm visits school to talk about legal careers

Some Year 12 pupils chatting to barristers from a top law firm to find out more about pursuing a legal career

A group of aspiring  legals eagles from Year 12 recently met up with barristers from 4 Pump Court Chambers to find out all about a career in law. The pupils heard about the best routes into a career in the law, what the job actually entails, the difference between a Silk and a Junior Barrister, and much more besides.

Barristers from 4 Pump Court Chambers explaining to pupils how they carved out succesful law careers

The meeting enabled both groups to think about how they can best work together over the next year for the benefit of the pupils in the school. Planned activities will be to set up a debating society, CV and interview workshops along with demystifying a law career in the process. We are also hoping to visit court and the 4 Pump Court Chambers at a later date.
