LAMDA Results & UCAS Points - a clean sweep!

Just before the Christmas break, nine pupils from Years 9-12 accompanied Mr Kalorkoti to LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) in order to take their Acting exams. We have just received the results back, and… not a single pupil was awarded a Pass....

Because they were all awarded either a Merit or a Distinction!!

This represents a phenomenal achievement on the part of all pupils involved.

At Grades 3 and 5, congratulations must go to Jasmine Haqq, Sara Berehe, Ollie Smith and Peggy Smith.

We also had pupils taking their Grade 6 (Bronze Medal), which is the level at which successful candidates are also awarded UCAS points - a huge well done to Manuel Alvarez, Eleanor Palmer, Zaynab Karim, Orlagh Roberts, Betty Smith and Theo Rooney.

All of these pupils were awarded UCAS points equivalent to an AS-Level pass, alongside their LAMDA Merits and Distinctions!

You can see most of these pupils, and many more, take to the boards in this year’s school musical “Beauty and the Beast", which plays 31st January-2nd February. Tickets are now on WisePay and sell-ing out fast - snatch them up now, to secure your seat for an unforgettable "tale as old as time…”
