It's the reel thing - come and dance the night away at the summer ceilidh
A night of wild dancing, foot tapping music and great fun are promised for next week's fund raising Ceilidh in St Michael's Church.
But if you don't know your Gay Gordons from your Dashing White Sergeant, don't worry as you will be talked through all the steps.
The Cumberland Ceilidh Band, complete with fiddle and accordian, will be playing at next week's summer ceilidh at St Michael's Church
The Cumberland Ceilidh Band will be playing on the night to accompany all the dances, and a cash bar and raffle will also be held. Funds are earmarked for the Our Kids charity which is supported by Bolingbroke Parents' Association.
So dig out your tartan and your sporran, round up your family and friends - or even come on your own, you don't need a partner to join in.
Our Kids is a charity created to support pupil and staff welfare and well-being at Bolingbroke Academy. Since January 2018 it has raised nearly £5000 through Friday ‘Snack Shack’ sales, 2nd hand uniform sales, haircuts, theatre tickets and fundraising events like Vinyl Night. Funds and donations have gone towards providing many needed and essential items within school including laptops for homework study, footballs, rugby balls, math kits food hampers and staff room refreshments.
Tickets for the event which is on Friday June 7th at St Michael's Church, Cobham Close can be bought via Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/between-the-commons-ceilidh-evening-with-...
