Students secure places on prestigious Oxbridge summer school
A number of Bolingbroke Year 12 and 13 students will be heading to the dreaming spires of Oxford this summer, as part of Ark’s inaugural Project Oxbridge and Project Healthcare, which aim to help the most academically able students to achieve their ambitions of studying at Oxbridge or pursuing a career in medicine.
Students selected to join the schemes must have a minimum of five 7, 8 or 9 grades at GCSE or 9s in the subject area they are hoping to study at university. Students with exceptionally high grades who are interested in studying medicine will also be invited to a residential course in Oxford in July.
These schemes help and support students every step of the way, by helping to select the most appropriate courses at Oxbridge, supporting students to succed in admission tests and interviews, and helping students to meet the grades of conditional offers. This will be done via a range of residential courses this summer, undergraduate mentoring, holiday revision sessions and after school workshops,
Some of our successful sixth form students who have been selected include Zayd, Tanisha, Asantewaa, Gulled, William, Indra, Macy and Allana. Good luck to all!
