Year 7 entry: September 2027
Applications for places at Bolingbroke Academy will be made in accordance with Wandsworth Council's co-ordinated admission arrangements, and places are only ever offered in accordance with our admissions policy which can be viewed here.
As a non-selective school we do not subscribe to the Wandsworth Test, nor are there any other exams for entrance. There are also no extra forms or paperwork to submit, all you need to do is put us as one of your 6 school choices.
Applications to join Year 7 in September 2027 will open via your Local Authority on 1st September 2026. The application deadline for entry to Year 7 in September 2027 will be 31st October 2026.
You can apply if you live outside Wandsworth, to do this you need to apply via your Local Authority who will inform Wandsworth for you.
Parents will then notified by Wandsworth/their local authority on Monday 1st March 2027 if their application is successful.

Top tips for admissions:
- Siblings and pupils from feeder primary schools must complete the application, entry is not automatic.
- Put your 6 school choices in order of genuine preference, if you only put one school on your form it does not mean you will get a place there, so use all 6 choices.
- Please do not apply to Bolingbroke Academy if you have no intention of sending your child here, similarly please contact your Local Authority to withdraw your application if your plans change between October and March.
- It is normal for pupils from feeder schools to be on the waiting list to begin with, this happens every year and places will be allocated as soon as the waiting list starts to move.
Open Events: October 2026
