Bolingbroke Alumnus Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
Members of our school community, past and present, may remember Nathaniel who was a pupil at Bolingbroke Academy from Year 7 until the end of A Levels last year. Nathaniel is now at the University of Bristol studying for a degree in Mathematics, and contacted us to say that he will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in August, to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation, a cause very close to his heart. If you are able to help him with his fundraising, the link is below. We look forward to hearing about his trip when he returns.
Please see the message below from Nathaniel:
Hi, my name is Nathaniel T, I am a former student of Bolingbroke Academy now studying Mathematics at the University of Bristol. A few months ago, I was presented with the fantastic opportunity of hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, with the goal being to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation. As someone who has had close family members suffer from meningitis, it seemed the right thing to do to try to raise awareness and improve research of a disease that is most common in young children and teenagers. Any donations would go a long way to me achieving my goals. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
