Shakespeare School Festival Performance
Now that we’ve had a little time to catch our breath after A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I wanted to write and say how proud and grateful I am to have shared the experience with such a talented and dedicated group. It’s hard to believe the festival was already two weeks ago. Looking back, I’m still struck by the energy, creativity, and commitment everyone brought to the production — on stage and behind the scenes. From rehearsals through to performance day, there was such a strong sense of teamwork and generosity, and I think that spirit really came across to the audience.
I’m delighted to share a selection of photos from the performance, along with the professional appraisal we received from the festival adjudicator, which you can find here: A Midsummer Night's Dream Appraisal
The feedback was thoughtful and encouraging, and a wonderful reflection of all the hard work that went into the production.
Thank you all once again for your time, enthusiasm, and support throughout the process. Productions like this are only possible because of the collective effort of so many people, and it was a real joy to create something together.
I hope you enjoy looking back through the photos and comments as much as I did, and I very much hope we’ll have the chance to work together again on next year’s festival. We will have our next play confirmed in June and will be holding rehearsals soon after, so please do get involved again!
With warmest wishes,
