On Wednesday 8th March a group of parent volunteers came into the Bolingbroke Library to talk to year 9 pupils about their careers in the creative industries. The pupils were interested in all the different career pathways and were eagerly asking questions about day-to-day tasks, earnings, qualifications and what our visitors enjoyed about their jobs. The roles represented included: Acting, Innovation, Fashion, Architect, Knitwear design, Strategic planning in advertising, Yoga teacher, singer, producer, TV presenter with the added bonus of a creative parent who is now a Magistrate. Thank you so much to our volunteers who gave up their time to inspire our year 9s.
